Manufacturing Laborer | Shop Support & Material Handling based in Langley, BC. This full-time, on-site role pays $24.00/hour with full benefits after 3 months. You'll work alongside robotic laser cells, CNC press brakes, and forming equipment—supporting a growing fabrication shop.

Pay Progression, Promotions & Training
- Starting wage is $24.00/hour
- Pay raises are based on demonstrated skill capabilities, reliability, safety habits, and the scope of work you can perform—not automatic seniority or tenure alone
- The position is open to promotion into skilled shop roles as capability grows
- Training is supplied in-house for up-skilling on brake press support, laser support, rolling/forming support, shop safety, material handling, and fabrication workflows

What You'll Do
- Material handling: load/unload sheet stock, move parts between stations, separate and stage sheets
- Feed laser, brake press, and other machines as needed
- Assembly of sheet metal components
- Grinding, deburring, and part finishing
- Packaging and shipping prep
- Shop organization and cleanliness—tools back where they belong, floors clear, stations ready
- Assist fabricators at brake press, laser, and welding stations
- Basic equipment maintenance and forklift operation
- Keep work areas safe, organized, and efficient
Equipment You'll Work Around
- Robotic IPG fiber laser cutting cells
- CNC press brakes with offline programming
- Plate rolling and forming equipment

- Physically capable: standing most of the shift, regular lifting, fast-paced movement

Nice to Have
- Forklift ticket
- First aid certification
- Prior shop/warehouse experience
- Familiarity with sheet metal or manufacturing
Hours & Culture
- Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (30-min lunch, two paid 10-min breaks)
- Punctuality matters—consistent on-time starts are required
- Focused, professional floor; respectful culture
Physical & Safety
- Standing for most of the shift
- Heavier lifting required at times (proper technique and team/assist devices)
- PPE compliance; follow all shop safety procedures
